Dr. Suzy Drmandjian
Dr. Carri was one of a kind. She was so caring and would do anything for her team and patients. She was my mentor and friend and one of the most amazing people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing!
I first met her when my colleague had to move on from her internship at NLC and recommended that I replace her. I met Carri and was instantly ready to start!
I had a 50 mile drive to Brea for my internship and I was always so happy and excited to be there! I remember the day she hired me as an employee, we both cried together from happiness. She wore her heart on her sleeve. I learned so much from Dr. Carri as a family chiropractor, as a doctor, as a business owner, a friend but also as a human being! She taught me so much about prenatal and pediatric chiropractic and would take the time to do training days with her staff to ensure all of our patients would get the special care they needed! I miss her dearly and wear the jacket she gifted me every day at work as if she’s giving me a hug and encouragement while i wear it. Every day I learned from Carri and I still do, I find myself thinking “what would Carri do” I love her forever and will cherish everything she has taught me!

Dr. Carri was not only an advocate for her patients and staff, but she poured heavily into her interns as well. Whether she was teaching you technique or giving you oils to share with others, she was ultimately the biggest giver. She showed me how to start my own family practice, to love on the littlest of spines, and to treat each patient as a whole, not as a diagnosis. Her legacy will not only live on, but now it will grow with this amazing scholarship through her name. She was foundational for pediatrics/pregnancy chiropractic in any community she served! Very blessed to have called her my overseeing doctor during my internship, and only dream to make her proud in this amazing field of chiropractic!

Dr. Teresa Crossley
At our first meeting at NLC, she walked out 8 months pregnant with a huge smile and we had an instant connection. Our friendship immediately blossomed and we were instantly Chiro sisters.
Carri helped me define who I was as a female doctor. She helped me see that I could run my own business and make a difference in other peoples lives. I hit the ultimate jackpot for my Chiropractor mentor and I’m forever in debt to her.
After I graduated I was growing my practice along side Carri and she had more interns coming in. Carri continued to teach all of us her ways and constantly celebrated every waking minute in that office.
She balanced motherhood and being a doctor so well. I’ll never forget her writing notes while pumping. I eventually moved to San Diego and started a practice with my husband. She continued to be a large part of my life and was always there when I needed something or even just to send me an “AY YO.”
I could keep going on but Carri was the most thoughtful human i’ve ever known. She loved celebrating birthdays, holidays, and milestones. She was a fierce freedom fighting mama, wife and lover of all things Chiropractic. She would always tell me after a positive patient case “See, I told you, this s**t works!” Carri is the reason I practice the way that I do and I will continue to pour my heart and soul into all the family’s that find me for care.

Dr. Carri was not just a teacher or guide; she was a source of inspiration, wisdom, and unwavering support. Anytime I had a question or concern about something, she always made time to help and provide her insight. She possessed a rare blend of knowledge, patience, and passion for helping people.
Dr. Carri’s legacy extends far beyond her profession. She lived her life as a shining example of the values she held dear, and I strive to carry on her legacy everyday in my practice. Her memory serves as a constant reminder of the power of mentorship, and I am forever grateful for the time we had together. The world has lost a remarkable soul, but her legacy will continue to inspire and guide me, and for that, I am eternally thankful.
